Looks pretty dodgy to me.
What does it mean "Tuscan style"?
Also, Sags weren't 380bhp in 2005 were they? (400)
Disregarding all the rubbish about 4 wheel drive etc and the lack of photos.

It's clearly rubbish, but it might be amusing if we all emailed him some questions....

I think emailing him is a fantastic idea... If you have a saggy don't tell that you do, and be sure to post your correspondence... hehehe rofl
Is posting a correspondence an internet no-no?

In any case I have never heard about, let alone come accross: 4WD sag, with ABS, ESP, and airbags!!
Sun roof!! Electric seats?? What on earth does this guy think he is playing at!!
jester

He also mentions rear seat belts? but it is a two seater??? confused I don't think that is possible...

Moreover, if the car is only one year old, why does it only have 3 months warrenty? When TVR provide 3 yrs??

I am very worried, there have been 21 bids already...

One thing to contradict all this negative info about the seller is he has 99.6% positve feedback from 2000 odd sellers!!

I think an explaination to all of this is that someone has asked him to sell their car on ebay and he has no clue about it...

The write off from the June Le Mans crash was sold by D Hales auctions a week ago: Chameleon Orange, £26,000, but had 20K on the clock.
Mk II was only written off three weeks ago - but had 5K on the clock.

Hmm. I'll be mailing him allright - just need the chassis number.

I don't think the actual power of the engines ever changed, I just think TVR realised more and more mags were testing "claimed" power outputs, so they decided to be a bit more realistic / truthful about the Sag

when you setup the auction there are loads of tick boxes for features, this guy obvsiously checked everything. One thing is for sure, if this is dodgy (which it obviously is.....) you would not be held to the sale as the desctription is obviously not true and accurate ;-))

I sent him a question yesterday along the lines of
whats the condition, has it really got 4wd and has it any accident damage or repairs.

I havent heard back - I guess that speaks volumes . It is now priced at 25K and still hasnt reached reserve so it looks like it isnt a give away price to suck people in.

I might have emailed the top bidder to wish him luck despite the strange descriptions!

Outstanding finance is to be expected - so long as owner clears it as part of the deal then I would be happy.
Why do you suggest it might be a ringer?

Outstanding finance is not necessarily an issue. When I did a check on my T350C, it originally came back as having outstanding finance, this being a result of the car coming from a dealership that closed due to some financial difficulties, so my car was effectively owned by the creditors. Once all the money was sorted out, the outstanding finance was removed from the record. I would still want some guarantee from a private individual that the money would be used to pay off the finance. If anyone is really interested in buying this "bargain" Sagaris, perhaps the current owner would agree to them contacting the finance company to clarify/sort out repayment?

Easily sorted. You pay the finance company & any outstanding amount to the seller (assuming there's less outstanding than it sells for).

Still sounds a bit dodgy though.

Only an hour or so to go ! Not reached its reserve. The top bidder has sold cars on-line before and looks like he would buy n sell cars on the web to try and turn a profit.
So doesnt look like it will be sold!

Strange. No feedback messages after asking questions of the seller. Not normal.

27 minutes to go. Hmm.
