Anyone have any tips on curing axle tramp on a Sierra?
Diff ratio is 3.62:1
Tyres are 235/40x17 on 8.5 rims
Dampers are Spax adjustable
Bushes and beam mountings are polyurethane
Apart from not pressing the throttle pedal so hard are there any mods?
Thankyou

Having replaced the bushes, I think my first move would be to check that none of them are loose and allowing the suspension to move around. Have you uprated the springs / lowered the car? It sounds counter-intuitive but hard springs can reduce the suspension's ability to follow the road. If all else fails, a thicker anti-roll bar may help.

Axle tramp? are you sure? what are the symptoms? a Sierra has Independant Rear Suspension, not a Live axle

check the prop center support bearing if you have a hammering noise and check the diff mounts to the subframe and the rear subframe mounts to the floor
