That Ford Power Stroke engine that you are talking about is a huge truck engine that has no place in a sports car. It weighs somewhere over 1000 lbs. Thats almost more than the rest of the car weighs.
For a light sports car you want a lightweight, high reving, high hp engine. Loads of torque just spin the wheels in a car like the Ultima. The Power Stroke is a big, heavy, low redline (under 4K?), high torque, low hp engine. Besides the fact that it won't fit and would need some custom transmission setup, it is exactly the wrong engine for the car.
