Hi,
I'm trying to find out if the Scorched Yellow colour being used on current Triumph bikes is a metallic as standard.

Basically I'm looking for a metallic yellow to respray my car and saw a 675 in a nice metallic yellow in the window of Metropolis Motorcycles in Vauxhall. Sadly they staff didn't seem to interested in talking to me - or anyone else for that matter.

Anyway thank if you can help,

That's only to be expected at Metropolis.
Despite being voted by "Ride" readers as one of the best dealers in London, I am very unimpressed.
I'm in the market for a Bonneville. I've been in there loads of times but haven't been able to get service or information. Last time I asked they were out of accessories price lists (or something like that.)
Last week I watched a customer who'd been waiting for ages actually abandon his road test at the traffic lights when he noticed they'd sent him out on the yellow Bonnie with the right hand mirror completely missing. When they started it I thought it sounded far too loud...passing mechanic, thinking quickly, tried to suggest the loudness was a good thing.
And just look at the state of the second hand bikes they have on display, dirty and unappealing.
I'll probably use Carl Rosner, who are London's number one "Ride" nominees. Even though they really are south of Croydon. Friendly, professional and helpful.

Similar experience myself, went into enquire about a new Multistrada (£8,500)was ignored until I interupted some guy on the phone, was given a brochure. Have a nice black one now not from them!!
