Wales in May

I'm thinking of going to Wales in May with the better half in May..

For a few days spirited driving on the best roads in the country..

Is May a good idea or a washout ?

Sounds like a top idea, assuming we can get the cars out of Wales after.. same goes for any trips to Holland btw...

Does seem like the flow into Wales has slowed/stopped and indeed we have lost a couple of late,never mind still enough around to fly the Welsh flag!!!!

Wales road trip. Good 3 to 4 days available depending on what you want to do. A few years ago we did the same for a three dayer. Based around castles to some extent. Did it an March of that year and nice weather mostly. Saw some rain for an hour or so.

BUT, its Wales, the geography does lend itself to rain somewhat so its how long is a piece of string question.

Why thank you. One of them moments, right place, right time etc. It was the only rain we saw in 3 days. Its on a mountain outside Machynlleth. Hooners delight.
