Bought 360 spider two weeks ago had it trailored straight to graypaul, major service, cambelts, 4 new p zero's, power warranty, Full superguard, massive valet, new front ball joints, new alarm sensor (full alarm £400), lots of minor bodywork making perfect, New tubi Exhaust fitting, Challenge grill being taken off and replacing it with original silver panel (silver with blu hood and challenge grille has too many colours for my taste).

Expecting Graypaul bill around £7500 so will have left eye crying tears of joy at my first ferrari and right eye crying tears of tight arse not wanting to pay graypaul!
So excited!!!!
Ps not driven it yet!
Garage hoovered, awaiting new arrival!!!
Carcoon on order.
Peak district soon to be terrorised!
Buzzing!

I'm 1k over what I wanted to pay, think Graypauls pricing is a little extrav to say the least but the car is exactly the colour combo I've always wanted so as long as they do the job perfectly I'm not gonna complain, they are getting my car into the best condition it can be in. William in service has been fantastic and put up with my constant progress update calls admirably, and has assured me that the car will be 'perfect'.

Oh, it's not a GT2 he's got Sarbs ..... it's much MUCH faster! yes

He has also been known to invite fellow P.Hers from East Yorkshire to stay over before early morning hoonage

re: Graypaul ... I always found their service dept spot on AND we not averse to a spot of price negotiation in order to keep my car coming to them.

Thanks for the heads up on Rob, I wont be racing any Porkers for a while (maybe the odd 924 if suitabley rusty)
I was very quick in my 996 4s this can be put down to the car, 997 2s I was slow this can be put down to me, Lotus 340r I was extremely slow and often sideways and partly in a hedge at chatsworth house, again down to me, 997 c4s was very very fast again probably the car! My driving seems to suit (depend on )4 wheel drive, so people who zoom in gt2s can send me a postcard from the destination as I pottle along roof down blowing rabbits ear drums with my tubi sound track!

You know what, I think this is my favourite post of the day. Really made me smile, and I think inadvertantly you summed up the whole "buzz" (really wanted a better word than that) of getting a car that is not some euro box, but something special...

You've spent money on a car you've not even driven, yet somehow - even I'm excited about you getting it home and I don't even know you!!

Congrats and hope you really enjoy it.

Cheers,

JC

Although i'm booked on the 2007 supercar run, london to monte carlo!!!
Surely its time you sold your 200 cars and bought one ubercar??? You in an f50 is the future!
