searching reverse-light switch for ford 4speed gearbox

my reverse light doesnt work: switch is damaged. my LOCAL FORD-DEALER HERE IN GERMANY TOLD ME THAT HE NEVER HAVE SEEN SUCH A GEARBOX.

the "german" type of reverse-light-switch has a smaller and finer thread than the one in my car, its also screwed in sidewards instead from bottom like mine.

diameter of thread ~19mm, thread-length 10mm, thread-lead ~3mm (i guess the thread is inch, not metric).

anybody can help me with such a switch?

Mine doesn't work (400 btw) and it is not an MOT requirement so I put up without it. Is it a requirement in Germany for legal use?

nope it isnt here...just passed the german-mot without any problem, but i want my cars always be in A1 condition!!!

i found now a german dealer who sells historic ford parts. the switch has a thread of 3/4" and costs new around 23,-euro. i also bought a complete gearbox yesterday night
, typ E for 30,-€ including the switch!!!
