3200GT -Gremlins in the Central Locking?

Hi All,
Had my 3200GT for a month now but today, at the petrol station, the central locking went nuts. After two attempts it wouldn't let me in (highly embarrassing!) and after a third it did.
I got home and tried locking the car and it just started going bonkers! Key fob wouldn't work. The drivers door wouldn't lock from either the inside (via the button) or the outside. Next thing I know, the passenger door won't open from the outside with the key, only the window drops. Spare key wasn't much use either yet both would start the car fine. Driver door was automatically unlocking itself after being locked from outside and inside?!? Felt like I was playing with friggin Herbie!
Finally managed to lock the car (via Passenger Door with key) and then set the alarm with the keyfob.
Anyone experienced this? Any ideas?
The electrics are covered by a third party warranty but it's frustrating none the less.
