Recording my voice onto my PC

[steve z]

I need to record a presentation onto my PC so that I can burn it to CD and then play in the car. I have a PC mic but am now not sure if I have any software to enable me to do this. I'm running Windows XP if that's of any use.

Anyone any ideas?

Yes you have. Sound recorder accesories/entertainment will do that very thing. To burn it to CD to play in the car however you will need to use windows media player which you will also have on your machine. It is quite simple to do. Dont forget you will also need a CD burner and blank CD.
