There's a Truvelo at the start of the M275 out of Portsmouth at a point where 2 lanes are on a slip road and 2 lanes go up over a bridge to become the motorway. The limit is 40 increasing to 50 on the bridge. Yesterday the camera had a plod bike parked under it with a tripod mounted camera to catch all the dangerous criminals who approach the Truvelo at 46mph ish and brake. Not sure that he'd have got many at the tail-end of morning rush hour.

Edited for smelling

I note they have taken down the blue countdown markers (counting down to an increase in the limit o.O) which anton queried with the HA/council.

Isnt that the camera at the bottom of a rather imperceptable dip that was justified by deaths including a cyclist that was dragged into a cement mixer?

No, it's the one on a four lane stretch of d/c right at the beginning of a motorway. Justified because somebody was killed while attempting to cross the full width of it at 11pm at night:

Might get mugged!

I wouldn't want to cross those 7 lanes of traffic in darkness

Might get run over!
