Strange sound on Pistonheads

Occasionaly I get a very strange sound coming from the site. It's like a squeaky gate noise followed by a drum being hit 3 times. Any ideas what it is?

Thought my PC had a virus at first, but now its just happened on my computer at work. Odd.

I've heard it too. I think it is one of the banner ads that (maybe inadvertantly) has sound to it.

It sounds a bit scary too. Especially in a dark room at night ...Runs for cover...

One of the BT ads has sound. If you click on the microphone in the advert then it does something.

It is the BT Digital Music Awards ad, and it doesn't require a mouse click to activate the 'mike testing' sounds.

Just experienced it again.

The ad makes a feedback noise that gets, erm, website feedback!

Phew, I'm not going made - scurried around the office when I heard it seeing which PC it came from, then thought it was some new instant messenger noise...
