Anyone got a link to any pictures of PSE's for 996, or better still post pictures of PSE fitted to their car ?

Why? The car looks just the same with or without a PSE, after all you do reuse the tailpipes! Now if you are looking for pictures of different tailpipes then I'm sure we can help.

My local OPC, Hatfield, kindly printed off the Porsche installation instructions and diagrams.
This I duly gave to my local mechanic together with the PSE, they fitted it in an hour and a half.

Still, nice of Hatfield to help, try your (sometimes) friendly OPC.

No! I'm sure the tail pipes with the PSE are different - for my C4S (and presumably the C2S as well), the 4 equally sized round pipes are replaced with 2 larger round pipes and 2 round same-size pipes.

I'm guessing that on the C2 and C4 models, the large oval exhausts are also replaced with the 2 large, 2 smaller, round pipes.....?

Nope, pretty sure the PSE exit pipes are same as standard.
You then put on whatever tips you fancy.
Large oval here hehe

yup, exactly as job38 says...assuming 996 of course....had the large ovals on mine before, they then simply unclamp from old silencers and refit to the PSE.

So in addition to paying anywhere between £1,400 - £2,000 you get stung for another £200(?) if you want different tips ?

Yes, but its not exactly being stung is it ? It's a free choice that you make, and I'm not sure that £200 is quite right - my dual circle tips were a tad more than that, although I could have retained the original ovals, but chose not to.
