Firstly, I know we are having an Indian summer, but the temperature is surely not 30 degrees outside. Does anyone have this problem with their air temperature always reading rediculously high?
Secondly, both windows are struggling when going up. They are fine until half way then stiffen up and nearly stop. Anyone else got this?

Cheers folks thumbup

Yea my air temp is always reading hi, I think the sensor is positioned some where silly and the engine temp contributes to the misreading.

Check you voltage reading- if not 13+ you may have a bad earth connection somewhere.

yep - got both of those issues.
The air temp reading on mine seems about 5-7degrees too high.
Windows on mine are slow to go up. Have tried the lube on the rubbers (ooerr), but also removed the stops on the bottom of the door edge which keep water inside the door cavity (groan). Maybe you can see something worth wd-ing inside... at the TVR service they said door needed stripping.

The windows apparently stick over time as the door rubbers are not teflon coated. If you buy some teflon coated door seal it will solve the problem. Alternatively you can rub some silicone mould release along the rubber and this will solve the problem( thats what they do at Bristol Ave)

wait until you start it up after the car has stood outside all night in a hard frost, mine read 200 deg C. the dials stayed black for half an hour.
