Price likely to go down much on X360?

Is this likely to happen, I'm very close to considering a purchase, but if its going to go down after chrimbo then I can wait it out.


Cheapest I can get one for now is £256 for the premium from PC World.

Are the going to come down at all?

with the PS3 delayed until next march - i imagine the prices will stay firm until after xmas... to cash in on the present market...

Next stage will be game packs.

Free game, subs to Live, extra controller etc.

Saw the premium with 2 controllers and PGR3 for £299 in GAME this week for instance.

Yep, go for one of the deals already about. Frankly Microsoft would be stupid to reduce the price before the PS3 comes out (March next year at the moment) although I can imagine them dropping it slightly once the PS3 is out.

I'm sure you all know that Bill Gates is on record (and video) as intending to crash the PS3 launch with a Halo3 bundle. That was before the latest PS3 delay but I presume that's still the plan.

I think Sony have really screwed themselves over with the PS3 launch, personally.

I would have thought the price will drop when the Wii comes out in december, I'm holding out for that, if not i'll just buy pre-owned!

Best thing is my wife is really keen on a HD TV as well so she will pay some of the cost
