The Ceramic coated Pre-catless manifolds are now In. Havent been out for a spin yet and probable wont feel the predicted small power increase but they certainly make the banana sound different ears
Took me just over 2 evenings to do them. Attacked the harder Nearside first and had that off and changed very quickly without having to take the whole exhaust off and didnt even have any scrapped Knuckles
So the Offside was even easy except for a slight mis alignment of about 3mm on the front holes but soon filed them out and now on.
Run the engine and now Cleaned with a Silicon spray that should help keep them protected once I have run the car again. As advised on Information sheet given to me when you gave me them.

So Thanks Bruce will let you know If and when I get it on a RR if theres a difference from my last run.

Hi Andy, recieved the Decals today, got to stick them on yet and have sent you some.

From Memory I think Bruce had his car on a RR before and after with MA and there was a small amount of Power gain..think 11 lb ft. prehaps Bruce will come along and confirm.

Old manifolds which I thought may have had broken cats due to the noisier car I have were in fact totally intact.

BB - would love to come and hear your griff now the manifolds are done. I'm not that far from Bedford. Thinking of getting something similar done to my Griff (Avus blue, so obviously not as fast as a yellow or red car!!)

Sorry late getting back to ya.

Glad the job went well Simon.

I don't think Guillotine was aware that these manifolds are the ACT/JP items and presumed from your post that they were simply a de-cat' and ceramic coat of the original Magnex pipework. If you don't see a healthy increase in midrange torque I'd be very surprised.

I did a back to back comparison with the Non-Reverse-Coned items (themselves good for a 10 lb ft increase) at Mech Repair with Mark Adams in June. The pipes you have, equated to about 11 lb ft over the NRV tubes. It may be possible that your motor needs some fine tweaking to get the bast out of them, but my understanding is that they are a 'bolt on and play'; speak to Mark Adams/Tim Lamont about it. I'd be interested to see a comparative plot if you should get back onto the same rollers.
