After this crash that my wife had yesterday I am very pleased with the safety of the car! One thing that did annoy us though is that when we were eventually allowed to move it onto the tow truck we couldnt find the screw in eye for the tow 'bit' on the back. Where is it for future referance?

Tow truck driver should not have needed it. They are a PIA and have been known to fail. Far better to attach to the suspension on a car which has been involved in a 70mph impact.

<Viz Top Tip>
Always find and attach the tow hook before starting the journey in which you are going to have an accident. It saves considerable time when recovering the vehicle.

In the toolkit in the bootlid. or under the boot floor with the jack.

Think he means where is the actual eye, not the tow bit.

And looking at the smash, it would have been on the right side of the car, but obviously no longer there due to the impact.
