Anyone else going to be watching this on MotorsTV (or listening via the radio) this weekend?

Fingers crossed that Creation & Zytek can give the Audi R10 some decent competition!

A shame we never got to see much from the Radical SR9, I wanted to see if it could take the fight to the RS Spyders. Who are having a tough time against the Intersport Lola - 2 laps down, which is a real acheivement for the Fields' and Liz Halliday.

Bad luck for both Dysons - Guy Smith was closing on the number one Audi and the car snapped into the wall, Andy Wallace had the other Dyson blow it's engine too, so not too much luck for British drivers.

Cracking race though, I think I might have to get down there next year.

Great result for Zytek coming second.

Creation managed 4th.

I think next season we'll see more from the Radical, this year was always going to be difficult and RA is a big race to compete in with a new car.

What a roller coaster of a race that was!

One minute I was really happy as the Zytek was leading, then they weren't, then they were, then Johansson had the tyre go (great car control there!) then they were back in 4th/3rd and finally thanks to the Audi having a problem 2nd.

Phew!

Had a great day down at Road Atlanta on Saturday, hard racing the whole way through and some good battles all the way through the field.

Audi vs Zytek: Those silent R10's are spookily quick and look effortless compared to the other cars out there.
Aston vs Corvette: Good to see the Brits stick one over the Yanks this time round - the V12 sounds so much nicer!
Porsche vs Ferrari: The 62 Ferrari stuck it in the pit wall early on, but the 61 car had moments when it looked like it would give the White lightening porsche a run for its money, but the drivers of the 62 car were definitely quicker.

Fantastic access to the paddock and the grid as well, will definitely be there again next year.

Thanks for posting the link, I love seeing what "normal" fans have captured as they can tell the race and atmosphere better than the professionals sometimes!

Shame the highlights show on Motors was so poor. It just seemed to consist of 15minutes of continuous racing coverage, then ads, then would jump to another 15 minute segment of racing coverage. It covered non of the yellow flag incidents, the Corvette brake changes or gave any hint on how the 009 car went from one lap in the lead of its class to being a lap behind the 007 car.

They were taking the TV picture feed form the circuit, and the feed was very poor.

The 6 hours or so on underground racing seems decent enough..

The actual live showing of the race was excellent, unfortunately I didn't manage to see the whole race. The highlight show on the Sunday evening was just pieced together and didn't appear to cover any of the interesting incidents in the race.
