Put some nice silicone hoses on the Chim and noticed
a water pipe from top right hand side front of the inlet
manifold when viewed from the front(imagine you can see through the bonnet)
that has been blanked off with a bolt!! Does anyone know what it
should be connected too? The length of the hose lines up nicely
with a thin inlet/outlet pipe directly under the large induction inlet
to the plenum chamber. This pipe has nothing attached to it and looks like a vacuum pipe but plugging it makes no difference to revs running etc but if it was a water pipe it would would be pissing out and it isn't.
If someone could open their bonnet and have a butcher's I would be grateful. 4.0 Chim serp by the way.
Cheers, Col

these pipes when connected are to heat the throttle body by use of a small water jacket that bolts under it.they are not connected on t.v.r`s,
they are supposed to warm the air into the engine and that isnt what you require.

You need it in Siberia to get the charge air warm enough to evaporate the petrol.
