Alpha romeo experience
Discussion
Went to one of these test drive car promotion days at Hellaby Hall near Rotherham today. The event was set up for the launch of the new Spyder. Had a really enjoyable time got to solo drive a 3.2 Brera, 19m GT, 1.9m 159 and finally the 3.2 Q4 159. the latter i particularly liked the low rev growl. The event was very well organised and would recommend it to anybody who gets a chance to go. The only gripe was that it was on a straight road full of traffic lights and scameras so no foot down time, oh and i never got to drive the Spyder.
The v6's made the day.

You're right it is Alfa, but I reckon if you look over the last 40 years or so that Spider has been spelt both that way, and Spyder. It has certainly been spelt both ways on Fiat cars.

I don't agree. I'm not sure where it comes from, but Spyder is some weird spelling that people think they need to use when talking about Italian cars. Alfas have definitely always been Spiders, and I'm pretty sure Fiats have too.
