All the best Matt. You will have a blast... and remember that whatever you are like tomorrow will probably be light years different to how you'll be at the end of your DAS (that's better, by the way ).

My test tomorrow.... woooo hoooo!!!!!!!

Well what a fun day yesterday. took from 8Am till 6PM for the 4 people including myself to do and pass the CBT. well the 16 year old moped kid failed. not looking ahead, cannot grasp doing what he was told and did not even know what the no entry sign was for when being asked questions shoot:banghead

Day when well apart from the very heavy rain and thunder especially during the emergency stop. a bolt of lighting hit the area where we were riding about 40 foot behind me. almost bricked it.

but at the end of the day I improved a lot and felt better about riding. also 2 fit birds doing the CBT helpedyum

today my first DAS training. what fun. I thought going from a 125 to 500CC would feel much bigger but it did not.
done the usual u turns and not much of a problem, more emergency stops on the 500CC. then at the end a ride on the local roads for a hour or so. bloody quick to get a 75-80MHP.

the main thing I noticed was how exposed you feel. My kit car feels very exsposed but not like doing 75 on a dual carrageway with no fecking seat belt and being strapped down. the instructer was happy with me today do i'm glad i'm improving.

I was so tired last night after a bath and a few beers I was in bed at 9:30PM

roll on tomorrow.

Got a Kawasaki ZR-7. Its T-reg but practically mint condition.
Took it for a run out on Saturday, think its the first time its ever seen rain!! Me too for that fact (on a bike!!). Could see car drivers looking at me strangely as I rode up the A32 under the speed limit!!
Just taking it really steady until I get used to it. Did the DAS on a Kawasaki ER-5 so all the instruments etc are exactly the same which is a bonus. What are you looking at getting?

You hit the nail on the head with your first post, try to relax as much as you can. I found doing a basic commentary as I rode helped focus my attention. Good luck with the rest of your training and the test!

Steve.

tomorrow i'm learning defensive riding, and prob more slow monovers.

any tips on the type of questins the examiner asks? I know some are about the basics of looking after the bike and the others are about carring passengers. tips comments welcome
