Tower View have been accepting orders with a view to getting a batch done at the same time (the Rollcentre ones). If you ring them now, they may be able to add yours. Should be available in a week or so - is that quick enough? (Do you plan to roll it sometime soon... )

The urgency is due to the fact that I've been let down by a dealer who said they could fit one on 15 March. They now say 5-6 weeks but the sprint season starts April 6 and I desperately need a rollbar in time.

I know it's an oldie (4 years!), but thought about this topic earlier today and found myself laughing out loud for no apparent reason at work!! FourWheels comment is classic! So thought it was time to share it again!

I'm sad I know!

Bollox! Was just about to call TowerView to get my order in quick! I need that kind of incentive to get anything done to my car!! Love it, but have no time.... Just thought, I've had the car for exactly 3 years in a few weeks. Will make a special birthday present comprising many replacement bits and more upgrades! What a great idea.

Edit to say that is a superb comment!!

I've had them for a while now. Lovely quality wheels. Just think carefully about tyres. I have adjustable shocks so can alter the impact the low profile has on handling. I have to say that in my opinion Toyos are not the tyre to go for. Good grip i cannot deny, but i do feel that change of direction response is poor due to the tread block and side wall movement. The car also does not like pot holes or bad imperfections. This results in a back jarring bang as though the rim is hitting the ground. Not sure if this is just due to the very low profile of the 18 inch rears or a combination including the tyre...

I have spoken to Giles Cooper (Castle TVR) at some length about these wheels on MY car. Our conclusion is that the 18 inch is too big and the Toyos are a poor choice for sharp handling. Best compromise is 17 inch rims.

Do look great though!

All IMHO of course.

I'm really glad for you, chimjunkie.

However, I've been waiting over 4 years for a sensible answer to my question and you aren't helping, are you ?

hehe
