I use Keith Michaels PLC, mainly because they usually answer the phone straight away, without the call centre charade
"Press one to wait a long time"
"Press two to listen to some music"
"press three to talk to someone who can't help you at all"
"press four to go back to the beginning or get cut off " etc etc ....

You can speak to the same person every time, they are competitive and will sort out unusual requirements
(like using your car abroad for more than 3 months a year)

I think Jonny5 on Pheds was insured with Elephant when his GT3 was stolen, he has been quite vocal about how poor their service was when he made his claim.

i am currently with elephant and to be honest......call centres with people that don't speak english is not ideal, mind you they were good at accepting the engine mods...currenty looking to switch insurers however as I am not convinced they'd be professional if I ever claimed fyi

Ok, I don't have a GT2, but have just gone through the call everyone and his dog and try confused.com thing for my 996.

Lowest quote by a country mile was through Simon Summers-Hodge of First Point on 01604 498894 and the policy I ended up with is through Royal Sun Alliance (very good cover)

As mentioned in an earlier thread there is no answering machine and you speak to the same person every time.

Hope this helps.

I was with Sun alliance last year on my tt..£650 which was cheap.I had the DMS upgrade(about 20% increase in power)and they wanted £1562...i had no choice but to switch with Elephant cheapest at just over £800.
