Importing a 997 into UK from Europe.

Does anyone know of any reputable importers who would supply a UK spec 997 from Europe at a reasonable saving.
Imported a Subaru myself from Holland a few years ago from a main dealer with a good saving but I suppose Porsche dealers do not export.

I imported one from Porsche Hamburg a few years back. The saving was pretty good and they also gave a 3% (or was it 5%?) discount without me having to ask!

I think the guy I dealt with was Herr Zimmermann - top bloke.

I imported a Boxster S from Germany. The dealers are used to selling RHD cars to UK buyers. Not sure what the discount would be now with the Euro exchange rate but I'd do it even if it cost a bit more. This is because the service from the German OPCs is on a different level to the UK OPCs. I'd prefer that the nice friendly and knowledgeable German salesman got the commission than the arrogant thick equivalent in the UK.

The import process was very easy, with the German OPC including the special plates and insurance that was valid for a month. Even used to drive my car back for a couple of services it was so good and made a weekend out of it

there is one that advertises in the Sunday Times - can't vouch for it but they've advertised there for ages - from memory they quote a 13% saving
