My car is at the OPC having the 'lean running' sorting out.

I mentioned there was a bit of creak from the suspension.

Been told that one of the front arms, and the two rears are coming away from the ball joint???

Been quoted £300 for the front, and £500 for the rear.

Is this expensive (I'm guessing it is)?

Is there any one else that could do this near me, I live near Portsmouth.

Thanks, Jamie.

How far will you travel, and how soon do you need to get it done?

i feel i should also put in something like "and how gay are you?" to appease nervy and sleep envy, but i'll refrain this time...

Time is money, so no more than about an hour, can't afford to lose a day at the moment. If it's not a huge saving I'll just let the OPC do it, and save the hassle.

As gay as Ric's car is dirty.

why not ring around the indys closest to you? (not sure who they are? PorscheWorx? Camtune?) and get quotes from them to see if you'd save enough to have it done elsewhere...

Yeah, guess Camtune would be within an hour from you - good suggestion, give them a call.

There aren't any indys close to me, nor an OPC.

After all it's only a city of nearly 200,000 with a third of the cars in my road being Porkers...

Took me over three hours to get the car to the OPC and get back yesterday.

Cheers Jeremy, saw the car at Goodwood btw.

Currently go to Guildford OPC as I can get a fast train home, Camtune aren't that far from them.

Went to Parr for a service, can't say any more than that.

Bournemouth takes slightly longer than Guildford although it's slightly nearer. Always been happy with Guildford's work.

Looks like the only other option is Camtune.

I wonder who phelix uses - look him up in the member directory and drop him an e-mail, he's down that way too and runs a 993tt

Isn't the suspension included in the warranty?

Nope, and it's lower arms.

Had both the front drop links done this year too.

Nope. headache

Other stuff seemed to go very well though (probably a bad sign).

If it was a job interview I'd have thought I'd got it.

I'm ready to be disappointed, and not just about the Porker.
