As it stands Michael Schumacher leads the World Championship due to more wins this season.

Stand to reason therefore that if Fernando scores no points at Suzuka, and Michael wins the race, he's 2006 world Champion.
Even if 'Nando wins the next race in Brazil, and Michael scores no points the rule stands.
Another record for Schumi, F1 WC won by the slimmest margin, nearest was Prost with half a point.
Fernando is on the same engine as China I believe.

Highly unlikely it'll be decided this weekend. One has to finish in front of the other for the next two races in order to win, it's as simple as that.

Don't you mean, Schmacher AND the FIA win the World Championship!!
If MS wins this year it will be right up there with the WDC's he has not deserved!
F1 is way beyond a Joke now, Champ car is where it's at, or better still, Club racing!

HeHeHe. Maybe there is a god after all. I almost cried I was so happy when that engine went up. Typical of ITV to go to a commercial as it was happening.

I think his engine letting go is... how you say? Poetic Justice

clap yeah that one perfectly timed engine failure was the best thing I've ever seen in F1.
