or.........take it off, brush paint stripper on it, wire brush the old paint off. Aerosol Spray it black, let it dry, then with a sanding block and fine wet ant and dry, sand it, because the letters are raised all you will sand off is the paint on the Cerbera 4.5, leaving a nice black badge with nice shiny gold letters. Then aerosol spray clear lacquer over it - Job done, nice and easy!
Ebay again for mine, although you may have to bide your time as sometimes they do go up to £40 towards the end.

You might be lucky with these ones, and this is the seller I got mine from. Think I paid about £20 for a pair. Bulbs not included by the way, and not often included AFAIK even if you pay £40, but not a major biggy. They are a Landrover item off a 101 Forward Control I think so another source is Land Rover specialists, but as you say I couldn't find any that were selling them off the shelf for much less than £40 for a pair, and yes it did seem a lot to me as well.

Yeah, I've done a lot of work on this.
The front indicators are from a military spec Land Rover. The part number you need is FV817224 for clear ones (the orange ones are FV740734). If you Google the part number you should find plenty of companies that can supply them. I got a quote of £31 inc VAT and delivery for a pair just the other day. I also found a link to the actual MOD document which details the parts:

My side lens is tinted, so I'm going to tint my fronts with a spray kit. Should look good if I dont balls it up!
