hi we have a s1 and my hubby is swapping a 280i ford for a 2.9 24v cossie has anyone any info on grafting wiring looms together ,if so i would appreciate any help .

IIRC shnozz has done a 24C conversion into an S I used to own, so would doubtless be a good person to ask.

I've done this conversion. I supply cast iron headers to link into a system under the car. I also relocated the alternator upwards. As for the wiring harness I had a shortened version custom made, that way I was able to do away with a whole heap of wires. Those were the main issues which needed addressing iirc.
