Just got off the phone after being told my crankshaft is bent!!. Has anyone heard of this ? I've heard of cracks and snaps but bent.
So looks like I'll be investing in a new short engine as when you look at the figures it seems to make sense. Oh happy days

I've heard of bent (with other stuff) when the engine ingests a fluid, and tries to compress it....

Cheers mate. Never thought of that. The car had no real symptoms apart from a knock/tick which had been diagnosed as dodgy cam
