Ok, a big speed bump, A T350 and a stupid driver, fiddling with his radio, means a big chunk missing out the bottom of the spoiler / front area bit.

Are these expensive to repair or can it just be cheaply filled and painted?

Alternatively, does anyone know if you can get one of thos black gel front splitters that you can buy for Lotuses (not that I make a habit of this kind of thing you understand - ahem!)One of those would cover it up nicely...

GRP repairs are possible if the damage is not too great. However, the cost of the respray might scare you if you have special paint (i.e. a TVR colour, not one from another manufacturer).

If the speed ramp was higher than 10cm claim off the council.

I don't think the nice paint goes that far under, I'm sure mines painted black where it would scrap on a speed bump?

Email PHer 'plasticman' - he's not that far from you (Bedfordshire) and does top quality GRP repairs at half the price of most body shops.
