A few problems that reared their heads today.....

1 - boot catch no longer opening, despite the solenoid operating ok.

Would've asked on here for help, but the laptop was locked in the boot!! Eventually managed to "break" in and figure out how to fix it.

Having seen how easy it is to get into, I won't be leaving anything of value either in the boot or the car!!

2 - Driver's window disengaging itself from the seal at about 150mph.

Anyone else had this problem, or knows how to stop it. Scared the crap out of me when it happened!

3 - Brakes grinding a bit during stopping from 150mph.

Which is weird, because they're normally completely fine. I've noticed this before on a couple of high-speed stops. Anyone know what it is?

They go back to normal within one or two stops??

Scrooloose - I've got no idea how to solve your problems. But what other Car would have an owner nonchantly describing how the "brakes grind a bit when stopping from 150mph"

Brakes...Mine did this before i had them upgraded...told its the pads shifting slightly in the calipers and then rubbing on the bit that doesnt normally come in contact with the pad...(the grove formed inside/outside edges of the disc). After a few normal brake applications the pads find their way back into their normal position.
