I'm hoping somone maybe able to offer some help / advise with my T350. The bolt that goes into the roof on the outside to hold the rear window in place seems to have failed causing the washer around it on the outside to "eat" into the fiberglass when you open / close the boot. I've taken the car to a TVR dealer and they say that the bobbin has failed and they need to drill this out to replace it, then layer up with fiberglass then paint it. Trouble is they are quoting in the region of 1k to 2k to do this as the "new" paint will stand out. Has anyone had a similar experience with this or know any reliable / trustworthy / honest dealers or bodyshops in the London area that will be able to help out.

Thanks in advance.

Well it sounds like you will need the roof repainting and blending in which won't be super cheap added to the cost of reattaching the window. I'd try another bodyshop though. I just ussed Specialized Paintwork in Reading (behind Pork UK, M4 J13). They did a great job on my car and several years ago they were just a good with my old Chimaera.

Your paint cost may need to be factored in. 1/2 quantites, £30-£40 for a common colour in the paint books. £125 for Red Glow like mine, and more for the cascade colours.
