Good nude shots.

I'm looking for some ideas for composition rather than how they should be shot, looking for arty rather than readers wives.

Anyone point me to a good website or post a couple of links for ideas.

I'd suggest starting with Charlie's Favourites lists, as that might give some excellent ideas about composition, if being a little on the pink side of the palette.

Otherwise a quick google for Fine Art photogrpahy, then filter on "nude" might avoid the worst excesses of the web. Depends on how arty you want to be, really.

Not so long ago (maybe 2 or 3 months) UKBob did a nude photo shoot with a lovely young lady and he asked similar questions. Do a search in this forum and you may find some things. All the actual photos were not posted, but the discussions and how/why/where were quite good I seem to remember.

But there are some good sites. Also look in the "photography resources" sticky in the top of this forum - that's got some good sites linked in it which may have what you're after.

Speak to poah and ed hassler who are far better than I am, have loads of experience, advice, and books they could recommend.

Check out www.photo.net too.
Under the "Exploring" tab at the top is a drop down menu. Choose "Top Photos" and you'll be shown a list of their best ever selling photos.

Set "category" to nudes
Set "period" to all
Set "by" to views

There might be far better sites, but that will bring up the best collection of tasteful, stunning and brilliant nudes that I know of Thousands of ideas, all very different too.

For me they dont capture the softness of the female line, I think that's because most of them are a full body shot, the ones of the female body builder are exceptional but not what I'm looking for.
