I've just seen this somewhat funky looking product. What do you all think of it?

Part of my thinks than a big, heavy SLR hanging off it, might not hold it that well.

Neat looking gadget - but that's only a 300D with a standard 18-55 kit lens hanging off it. Not sure I'd trust it with much more weight than that...

Review of this in last weeks Amateur Pornographer - apparently good if you only need to secure an Olympus E-500 with a kit 14-45 lens but with a 50-200 it collapsed immediately. Also very difficult to stuff into a pocket on account of its rubberised elements. They recommend a beanbag as being more economical and stable.

I'm not surprised. I wouldn't trust my D70 and 70-300mm lens hanging off a tree like the second pic (or a cable like the first).

A great little gadget...but for more happy snap cameras I think.

I got the mini version and it's really great for just chucking in a rucksack and it holds a little compact quite firmly. Wouldn't trust the bigger version with anything chunky though.

Cheers
