How many road legal Speed 12's are there?

so does any one know anything else about this speed 12 or is it just sitting in a warehouse or garage somewhere collecting dust?
does this cars owner actually use this thing/post on here?
just genuinely interested,as like many others always aspired to such a car myself,
what does it actually drive like etc.?
A bit of juicy detail could possibly sate my thirst for a while.

Ok, based on the recent EVO review, the car is mad to drive! They claim she's producing 200bhp at idle! (god knows)
But what is true, is the fact she is a high-compression V12 thats pushing 600+ horses... what the max is? again, god knows!
Its gotta be the madest and bravest project for a production car ever, sadly the orders didnt pour in, but the one thats now privatly owned has had severe modifications. The redeveloped the heads, no longer are they finger-followers - solid taps i heard. Completely upgraded, better than the race-version... just the suspension costs 10k+....
From what Graham said (the PR guy for the Speed12), shes ok to drive if you keep off the throttle, there is no room for error when you plant the throttle!!!
Greatest TVR ever built technologically... just wish she did all the big stuff like the McLaren F1 and Veyron did, sadly this wasnt the case and thus holds claim to no world records whatsoever... I'm still trying my best to get Graham to try and get the owner to start doing some real performance tests... but after all the owners been through, I think he just wants her running tight and keep it at that... understandable.

Yup, the original speed 12 was the best looking TVR ever hands down!
I wanted the same look for the phoenix when I started the body development, but I hit a wall of issues when we realised that its actually terrible for high-speeds! guess thats also why they threw that design out the window and went all curvy at the front.

The 'problems' related to a variety of small things prior to delivery to it's owner, all of which were
over come and the car now runs and performs as it should, as a truly an awesome Supercar.
Those who saw it at 'Back Home' will confirm how 'user friendly' it is as it blasted up and down
the prom giving rides to a lucky few.
Still an icon and now performing as was originally intended.

Just the car was at the factory a fair amount, assumed it was the engine, I guess the visits were all 100mile service interals, hehe

Pheonix,just looked at your website,never realised that you had used a (standard!)cerb as a base for your project,
just caught little glimpses of posts in the past and just assumed that you had started out with a speed 12 originally.
I would like to have a look at it in the flesh as it were,
there is not much chance of getting to any meets/shows in the near future though as our first baby is due very soon and we are having a new house built at the moment which isn`t excactly going to plan as the girlfriend keeps wanting to change stuff!
even the hairy arsed builders are scared of her and the architect wont answer his phone now either!
must have cost you a pretty packet so far and caused a few headaches no doubt.
also nice to see some solid determination from someone for a change.
There`s too much talk of putting volvo/jag/chevy/ford engines in these cars.
Many people defend these ajp8`s to the death,I`ve been unlucky with these myself in the past and still think that its the engine the car was built for,BUT with some decent developement,
always seemed that for a 40/50K car the engine felt slightly unfinished.
(had a couple of tuscans now been faultless,funny old world isn`t it?)
What are you expecting in terms of reliability/practicality? or is it purely for sphincter excercises?
P.S. No idea what colour I would choose,but matt black would give it a sinister look until you decide,scare police horses and stuff.
