The only day I'm not working during the whole of the show is 31st of October, so that'll be the day then.

I mean, the sales "people" have it all wrong.

Can you imagine if all the people selling bikes, leathers, helmets etc, etc were stunning models as above, can you imagine how much stuff you'd buy....I'd leave with six bikes and all the matching gear!!!

Going on the Monday with a couple of mates. Anyone else think they've toned down the amount of lady flesh on display? A few years back they were everywhere, I hardly got to look at any bikes at all I heard some politician kicked off about too many scantily clad women at the Motor Show or something, and it had a knock-on effect. Don't know if that's true - still, bl**dy politicians eh?

Yes, 30th Oct. No problem Matt. If you're going then I'll gladly help with advice etc. Been riding since 1983 and passed test in 1988. No pretence at being a wonderful rider or anything, but know enough to keep rubber side down and still have fun. Been banned once too - only time I got caught - so learned a valuable lesson there too - watch carefully for the BiB basically laugh
I see you're in the South West - me too - near Burnham-on-Sea. If you want to email me, look at the Corvettes for sale in classifieds - mine is the Yellow '72 - there's an email link there.
Cheers,
Mike.

but now the mrs has decided she might want to come and buy some cheap gear... no perving, 'embarrasing' to sit on bikes in front of everyone, shouldn't i be spending my money on her blah blah

Did anyone go in 1997/98 on the Friday preview day, can't remember exactly which year.

Anyway there was a promo girl outside the Oxford Products stand dressed in Mick Doohan leathers.........

Until you got closer... body paint! Oh happy days.cloud9

My mate has a photo if I can get it, I will scan it and share it.

I was lucky return flights from Glasgow with BMI for £43, flights were free just had to pay taxes.
