Lamborghini Spyders?
Discussion
Although they are a great car (love them to pieces), prices seem very hit and miss, not as stable as the 430 spider, massive premiums were wanted at launch but as it arrived at the back end of summer many speculators were unable to sell before summer premiums had gone, now they are stuck with a £140k summer car and are willing to take a small losses just to get out of the car!
If you want one make a brave bid and wait a week, I would expect you will get a call back as people need to sell!

£138K is as good a price as you'll get for a new 'un, depending on spec.
Speculators always muddy the waters. I'm not aware of any difficulties Lamborghini are having selling these cars. As with all Lambos, each one is made to order (by hand, not like your average 430 which is assembly-lined like a Focus) and is pre-sold.
As with many new exotics, there are always a few speculators who don't necessarily fully understand the market they expect to fleece. And there are always a few people tooling round in cars they don't actually own.
Ofcourse, I could be wrong.
I agree with sarbs that there are probably a few speculators out there who need to off load before they make another payment. Make a silly offer and enjoy their stunned expression.

list price is no secret. its £131k. but you'll find many cars have an additional £10-£15k in extras. callisto rims being the most popular i would imagine.
Mine has Callisto,e-gear,carbon,navigation,brake colour,sportivo,electric seats + a few more - ~£23,000 extra
Guess you can now add ceramic brakes - another £10,000 at a guess

Having seen both Ferrari and Lambo factories in the same week in 2004, I found them quite similar in principle.
The customer's order (with options ticked etc etc) is attached to bundles of selected parts that make their way down a line and become his/her car. And the bits were being assembled by hand...
Now, if you want absolutely non-Ford like techniques, you need to wander a little farther down the road to Pagani. Was never a fan of the design, but seeing them built makes one want one. Incredible barely covers it.

Load of rubbish. Was at the Ferrari factory about 3 weeks ago.
Bit punchy there, Chris, but I'll apologise for the comment, none the less.
YHM.
