Is it worth upgrading to it who does it have even more of a hold over your music? currently using 6
I've got it running on my Vista Beta 2 box and it appears a bit flaky, screen updates (if they occur) can be flickery and it won't talk to any of my iPods, which isn't ideal! Upgraded to 7.0.1 today and it seems a bit better, will see if it talks to iPods when I next restart.
It doesn't really offer a huge amount extra if you just do music (although the Album Artist ID3 tag is great to have for compilations), so unless you need the newer TV/Movies/Games features I wouldn't bother for now as there is a lot of whinging going on about it.
Interesting.
Im now using the latest version, but only beacuse when I bought the Jet album of iStore, it wouldnt let me download the tunes till I was up to dat with iTUNES.
Seems ok, BUT, when we plug either of our pods in, it doesnt list the tunes on the pod as a playlist like it used to.
Any ideas how to resolve this ? I liked being able to check my 60gb was up to the same spec as my library, and the other half used to darg and drop to fill the mini.
TIA

Clicky for biggie.
That's how my iTunes set itself up be default, although I have told it to manually manage music/videos, not sure if this is the issue your having.
But the little arrow that pointing down (just under the D in Devices) if on yours it's point to the right click it and it'll point downwards and the list will appear.
