Server

Uncledave says:

We are using the 'Pistonheads' GTL server. The server will be passworded, so if you have not raced with us before, you will need to contact [LINK - Neil_Cardiff) for the access details. We also ask for a £20 donation towards server costs, which is non refundable if UncleDave [or more likely someone else] kicks your arse. Anyone is welcome to race.

The server goes up at 8pm with the correct track.

Cars

We use the GTC65 class of cars, but exclude the cobra and the GT40, because they are loud and scary and too difficult to drive.

Tracks

we are using the default tracks with one addon (Brands Hatch: www.no-grip.net/index.php?categoryid=2&filenr=843):

Mondello
Monza
Spa
Zolder

We'll use national versions of each, where available. Spa, Monza, Zolder and Imola are on the full circuit, obviously.

I think this makes 12 week, we can discuss a break for christmas nearer the time? I'm not sure when it will finish at the moment!

Format

We start at 8pm each Sunday. The track for each week will be selected randomly on the day before the race so that people with less time to practice can be competitive .

Race One

start at 8pm.

15 minutes practice
10 minute qualifying
8 lap race

Race Two

single lap qualifying
10 lap race

Championship Standings

Points are awarded as follows: p10 = 1 point, p5 = 6 points, p1 = 10 points. (draw a graph and extrapolate from that if you want to know what you get for the positions in between )

I don't think I should have 12 points as I only took part in the first race as the Fg, Stupid, Wy, Cp, Bs, Bd game wouldn't let me back in for race 2

I don't think 5 points can be right for me given that I finished the first race 3 laps behind everybody else and was disqualified in race 2 because I forgot a stop-go penalty!

Nope You have got 5 points alright
Even if you just attend you will get at least 1pt (unless there are more than ten of us).
