A beer sounds cool. I've had this chim about 5-6 months now, but i used to have a red S3 before that. You had your griff long? I think i've only seen about 2 tivs in and around burton.

Sorry to butt in -

Hey Lee, soon after I bought mine (middle of summer this year) I was driving back from work and was sure I saw one similar colour to mine turning in just in front of me as I came off the bridge on Rosliston Road heading into Burton.

There goes my exclusivity, I thought, I may as well have got a Scooby.

It's just occurred to me it may have been you - are you ever in that area (walton road/rosliston road)?

(We met briefly at Denby pottery, and it didn't click with me at the time, though you said you were from Burton way).

I'll keep an eye out for you, I work in Drakelow, and go through Burton on my way home.

Oh yes, most definitely, I've never had a car before that isn't really a car, it's an event.

I was going to say its going well (apart from an annoying oil leak I haven't resolved yet), but I reckon you've jinxed me, 'cos on my way out today to go to WM TVRCC, the alarm went off and wouldn't stop. Took me two hours to get in through the secret trapdoor, and disconnect the battery (well, I say me, it was my electrician mate, I just 'gave orders'). Not sure what to do now, maybe just a flat battery, won't know till we reconnect everything up again.

Shameful, not something I'd announce on a public forum Mind you, I bet it's better than my Vectra...

Or even an Omega 2.5TD well at least it has a bema straight six rofl

I have had my Griff for around 18 months and have not seen any others so as you can imagin parking next to a Cerbi at Moggies was an event in its self !!

So do you work for Roger then mate? can not think of any other firm in that area since the station shut.

So we have:
1 cerb
2 chims
2 griffs

Not bad collection of carssmokin
