Nothing that exciting I'm afraid, but I feel like I've achieved something

My garage went from looking like this:

To looking like this:

The aim being to have a kind of home studio I can use to photograph unwitting fools. My first victim could of course only be the dog. A few out-takes as I tried to get a shot of him leaping to catch a bit of cheese:

So I decided just to take things in smaller steps, and get a few of him sitting still.

Lessons - lighting is very hard, I didn't want to rely on post processing as much as I have in these. More thought required here, as I want to avoid spending £££s on lights.

Need to paint the floor white as using a white sheet doesn't work well, too many shadows.

That's all, sorry it isn't more interesting.

hmmmmmmm I drove from Slough to Cornwall in a day to get a Triumph Stag with a Rover V8 for a mate. Now he has decided to sell it.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm happy enough with them for a first attempt, more practice required though.

It's funny because there are 9 garages in the area to the rear of my house, and not one person keeps their car in there! I will in the event that I get a good enough motor, it doesn't seem worth the hassle of garaging the pug every night...

not a skill I possess I'm afraid, I got it done by a mate who is a plasterer, in exchange I'm going to photograph his kids and do him a bunch of prints. He paid well over a grand for 3 x 12" canvas prints from a Venture studio, so he feels he is getting a good deal.

I guess that makes me a fred in a shed now.

Took my new motor down to Dungeness so it could look like I had put a large antenna on the back.

Lovely, I do like the one of him sitting down looking at you, really nice.

I thought I should do some gardening this weekend as the cat keeps getting lost in the grass
