Canon 24-105 L IS
Discussion
Seriously tempted by one of these - anyone got one? Any thoughts or sample pics?
My main worry is that I'll get it and then wish I'd got the 24-70 2.8 instead, but I think the IS, longer reach, lighter weight and smaller size will be more useful as I want to do some travelling with it. Using it on a 350D and I've got a 10-22 to cover the wide angle side of things, so it seems ideal for me.
Lastly, is anyone selling theirs

I really Really love my 24-70. Its perfect glass. And the super dooper creamy bokeh backgrounds are unbeatable on a zoom in that range. And its perfect for studio stuff, I really cant complain...
However! On many occassions I have wondered whether I might have been better with the lens you are considering. I dont mind the size/weight of the 24-70, but the extra reach would have been nice, and the IS a godsend for someone like me who doesnt like cranking up the ISO in low light conditions. Its a fantastic lens from what Ive read, you cant go wrong with it.
