Someone suggested we all head there for a pre Silverstone day out but the thread has fallen off the edge of the board. Maybe we could get an idea of who all intends going along? I'll start the list off

Leave tomorrow morning, so should hit Santa pod on friday night. I think we'll end up staying on-site.

Sunday's still undecided. Its Ford day up at Crail, but thats a hell of a long drive.

That said...if I get a 9 on the Saturday, I wont care about racing at Santa Pod on Sunday lol

I think I'm dreaming though.

the "beast" was certainly in the low 10's unlike a certain Monaro that had a slight clutch malfunction.

can i make a suggestion? When we went to shakespear it cost only 20 quid for the day and you ran as many times as you liked, if you wanted you could litterally leave the strip and 5 minutes later be on the run again.

Might be worth considering this in the future over the pod?

I was at SP both days, and managed 7 runs. I could probably have got 8 though. That was with continual queuing ALL day sat from like mid-day, to after 8 oclock, and gave up after 2 runs on Sunday.

A lot of cars broke down, and the crew seemed to be going OTT on track prep. Was good and sticky for it though.
Pain in the arse for anyone racing. Bored the bloody tits off me. I gave up oin Sunday after 2 runs. No way was I gona sit in the queue for another 2 hours, for a measly 10 secs of track time
lol

new PB of 10.04 @ 148.42mph. Also managed a 149.36mph pass

So not quite the 9's and 150's Id have hoped for....just have to wait until next year
