I might be up for coming along, too. High time I did!
Fantastic...Will the R1 be coming out to play??!!
If it is not too far from you, you should consider coming along to this. There is some fantastic machinery going. Although I'm listed as taking the car, it is my intention to bike it, given good weather.
Probably be the last decent run of the year before the road gritters come out - with the single intention of corroding your bike!

Your wife knows how to treat her man! I'd be up for this - always wanted to do the superbike school - I'm guessing I'd learn loads which would translate to more confident fun on the bike... So, if there's going to be a few PH attending on the day, count me in...
Well, I said that I either wanted 8 furry paws, or something with R1 written down the side....I guess I didn't do too bad!!
Great stuff! Time to get it in this year?

It's just the weather isn't it? I have a track day booked this Wednesday and am checking the weather every hour or so - this biking gets you obsessed with rain! But yeah but no but yeah... I would probably want to say lets leave it until April / May but it wouldn't take much persuasion to book up this year...
My wife knows I also want an R1 - always wanted one since they first arrived in 98... I bought a GSXR because it's the better bike but I don't care if the new model isn't as good, just want one for the looks!
Chilli, For a school in the UK use your own bike (if you get the R! I would still do the school on the R6, you will be able to concentrate on what they are teaching you because actually riding the bike will be taking less of your attention) There is very little chance of binning it on one of there days especially as you must start at level 1.
People do fall off, just like on track days and on the road, the risk is something you accept when you get on a bike. IMHO the risks are lower than anywhere else.
I'm on my way down to one of their 2 day camps in Spain (in the car) at the moment, this will be the 3rd camp I have done in addition to 2 or 3 school days in the UK, over the last 5 or 6 years. I was one of those riders who was fairly quick, but fell off on average at least once a year. Miraculously I never hurt myself, but it was ruinous from a financial point of view.
Any modest skill I have on a bike now, is down to Andy and his team's quality teaching.
I'm definitely a believer!
