nylon bushes

hello to you all,
has any one replaced the bushes on the griff themselves.
I have been told that it can be pig of a job,but when you have changed them with the nylon kits, does it make a big difference. Any thoughts on this please, thanks.

Fitting the new (Poly) bushes is easy, getting the old ones out is more of a challenge. Also when you remove the wishbones you will probably want to clean and repaint them along with the newly accessible bits of the chassis, then there is the ball joints, may as well do them as well etc. It is the cleaning, repainting and undoing the seized bolt or two that takes the time.

It certainly sharpened up the feel of by car but to be fair the old rubber bushes were very sad. Contrary to what some say I don’t find the ride all that harsh.

Got the entire kit from David Gerald. I mostly fitted new nuts and bolts as well, they could supply the correct ones by description rather than size.
