Hi all.

Could anyone help? I have noticed now that the summer has gone that the heater in the Griff does not blow warm, (which means of course that it should have been a lot hotter in the car over the summer) does anyone know how to get this warmer rather than take it to a £55 per hour TVR garage.

which Griff? mine is an early model (with the momentary switches next to the window lift switches)and it's very 'hit and miss' with regard to hot or cold air, up or down venting.....which is controlled by electric motors. When I press the hot/cold switch there is a whirring noise somewhere in the footwell which allegedly allows hot water into the heater matrix, so you might want to check:
a) is the engine getting to the right temp in the first place ('normal' on the guage?)
b) is the motor whirry thingy working
c) does it make any difference which way the switch is pressed

sadly, if you have a later model Griff much of the above is probably useless info in which case I'll get ma coat...

Let us know if you've got a pre-cat or a 500 bebee. I've got a bit of experience with the heater controls of a pre-cat if I can help.
