Rear window frame/roof scratch plate protector ?

Does anyone have problems scratching their rear window frame when putting their roof on (with the roof retainer brackets), or sometimes putting the roof in a full boot and scratching it with the boot catch? This really gets to me and cannot seem to avoid it at times, when rushing to put the roof on, on my own, no matter how hard I try to be "quickly careful" it still happens.
I was thinking of some type of small asthaetically pleasing protector plates in a rubber or aluminium? just an idea, I would have thought armorfend would not be strong enough for such a scratch.
