PORSCHE 911 SUPERSPORT OIL LEAK !!!
Discussion
Just noticed a small amount of oil on the garage floor ......... people say it,s normal for a porsche to leak a small amount of oil ...is this true or am i looking at a a nasty bill short term ..... only been a porsche owner for a month so pardon my lack of knowledge ... oh yeh 80K and full service history .....
There's plenty of places for the oil to come from.
The usual one is the oil return tubes. They allow the oil to return from the head, to the crank case. They are sandwiched horizontally between the former and the latter, and vertically between the cylinders and the exhaust heat exchangers. You can get collapsible replacements. They save you from having to strip the engine.
