Well that day has finally come....

Owing to the fact of the birth of my first baby and the realisation that the car would have spent even more time in the garage than before i made the decison that i hope i will not live to regret.

The Gallardo rolled off my drive for the last time... To say i was gutted would be an understatment, it is the first time i have seen anyone else drive it and my god it looked and sounded awesome driving off up the road.

My wife still cant believe i did it and i dont think it has quite sunk in yet.

I will keep logging in to this forum as the Bentley Forum is a ghost town to say the least, no really!!! The forum seems to attract one contribution a week if that.

Enjoy your Italian Exotica Guys and Gals...

I feel for you.
My car has weathered 2 children (now nearly 5 years and 5 months respectively)
Certainly a more modest vehicle but in terms of family practicality equally hopeless.
Mileage has certainly dropped & it was never exactly driven loads before the children arrived.

If I were you I would stash half the money away from the sale in a bank account. In 5 years time you will be able to buy your car back and use it to pick your son/daughter up from school

cry but i'm sure everytime you look at your newborn baby the car pales into insignificance.

You're not wrong there. The significance of my car was questioned this morning at 2am, 2.25am, 3.15am, 4.40am (twice) and finally at 5.30am

Shame, but it wont be long till you can get back into a sports car

My daughter has always liked travelling in the Ferrari and Lambo

Indeed i do forget all about the car every time i look into his eyes to be fair.

Superb photo's by the way, what does she makes of the exhaust note? I guess its not the usual case of falling asleep as you drive along?

I have already rang the local Bentley Dealer to order a Baby Bentley Car Seat, looks very smart and not too unreasonable either.

Traxx, can i ask, did you have to specify air bag deactivation to have the baby seat in the front?

Its actually been something i have been pondering!
