Greetings! It has been so long I thought I had better re-introduce myself. I'm not new to this forum, I used to post under the name D1 MAD, however I have been rather inactive on the TVR front for the last year and the site no longer accepts that name. I can't understand why, I log in in that name and it is accepted, but every time I try and post, be it new or a reply I get asked to log in or register again!
As about the only thing I have done with my 350i during the last year is take 'that' registration plate off, I thought it was time for a new name anyway. So instead of Steve I am now Mary, OK? No No! No!! only joking!!!
For those of you lucky enough 'not' to have met me, I have a red series 2 350i. There is a picture of it on the 'Castle Combe 2005' report on the intro page entitled 'rolling road 1'. There is also a brief glimpse of it 'singing' on the rolling road on the video clip. What a great day that was!
I have owned the 350 since August 99, but, shame on me, have not driven it for 11 months now. It needed the exhaust sorting for the MOT last November, thinking it would take a while for me to get around to it I SORN'd it for the winter and here we are, nearly winter again and I haven't touched it! It is all nice and snug in a dry garage but various other car and motorcycle projects have taken up all my time. I must do it 'this' winter!
Well looks like I could have made a start on the exhaust in the time I've been banging on on here! Best I sign off now!

Hi Steve hows it going, wondered where you went. Did the Castle Coombe day again this year, another great day. No rolling roads there this year though

I took the number off as I was worried I would loose it if I never got around to putting another MOT on it. The rules were, that to transfer a plate the vehicle must have been MOT'd within the last 6 months, though I believe the 6 month rule no longer matters as long as SORN is in place. Didn't want to take any risks with it though.
The plate is now on would you believe, a Suzuki SJ410 that I bought for £100 and which has given me nearly 2 years of fault free use, towing trailers, hauling dogs, off roading etc. What a laff!
I may put it back on the 350, you never know.
