Dealer Priciples are reknowned for having their phone lines protected by their staff and hardly ever speak to us poor punters. Might be an idea to get an email address for Porsche GB and copy them in if no reply is received from the Dealership after a day or so, or if they do not offer a resolution to the issue in question.

Assuming this guy has some major issue that hasn't been satisfactorily resolved then email is a great weapon against OPC. Put everything in writing and ask for a written response. This way you can't be fobbed off by someone on the phone and there is no miscommunication. Also, if you don't get an answer you can use this as further evidence of bad service. OPCs hate paper trails as these can then be passed up the Porsche foodchain or be used in court etc for a worst case scenario.

Had a minor issue with my 997 that wasn't resolved on the phone. Typed a very polite email to Reading asking for a written response. Problem fixed within 24 hours.

I like your thinking. I'd hate to play you folks at Chess, always thinking end-game rather than bash-em up.

Recorded delivery letter to Andy Goss at Porsche UK. One of his minions will no doubt reply, but at least the paper trail will be with the boss.

UPDATE!

Had the car collected and returned today and everything has been checked again so hopefully no loose bits.

The driver returned the car and parked outside one of the ofice windows. Indoing so he hit the kerb (big crunch)and reversed back. I was told that he had done this (3 people were in the office) but when on asking he said nothing. I went outside to find the front lip spoiler (aero kit for tt) half off!

Car rejected and returned waiting for repair!
